Erik in ’t Groen appointed as managing partner

We are pleased to announce that Erik in ’t Groen has joined Royalis Investments as a Managing Partner. Erik has been part of our team since August 2024 and, in his role as Investment Director, has made a significant contribution to the growth and development of Royalis.

At Royalis, we invest with patient capital, personal engagement, and a proactive approach — often from a minority position. This next chapter is strengthened by Erik’s promotion to the role of Managing Partner. In his new position, Erik will work alongside the partner team to help shape the strategic direction of Royalis and further support our portfolio companies.”

Erik previously held roles as a banker at Rabobank and as a consultant in the Deals practice at PwC. He studied business administration at Nyenrode Business University and completed advanced training as a certified business valuator (Register Valuator).

In addition to his role at Royalis, Erik is also active as a healthcare real estate developer, supervisory board member, and national board member of 14 churches affiliated with Mozaïek. He has also authored several books on turnaround management.
