In 1999, Bart Kuijpers became one of the three founders of Coolblue. For years he helped build the company into one of the largest online retailers in the Benelux.<\/p>\r\n
After his departure in 2015, he deliberately chose not to let the proceeds from the sale of his shares sit idle, but to invest them in companies and entrepreneurs. In 2018 this became Royalis, which he started together with his childhood friend Maurits Roose.<\/p>\r\n
His motivation stems from a Christian conviction: wealth is entrusted to you to do good with it.
